We are...
...the student choir and orchestra of the TU Delft and we love sharing our passion for music with you. We are giving concerts on July 5, 6 and 8 and they are going to be spectacular! 200 musicians on the stage will perform the Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. This huge work celebrates the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and tells a story of love, friendship and more. You might know it from the famous ‘Oh Fortuna’-theme. Aside from this, we will perform Prokofiev’s 7th symphony, with beautiful melodies and themes. This is a delightful piece for people who are new to classical music, but also interesting for experienced listeners.
It's amazing to see...
...200 students share this passion and put all their energy in bringing our music to the stage. This connects us and forms the base for deep friendships. We are all close friends, family even, who, besides making music, have a lot of fun together. It’s with good reason we were voted “Most fun student orchestra of the Netherlands” last Friday!
We rehearse...
...at X twice a week. Originally, the Theatre Hall at X was designed and built for Krashna, so our relationship with X goes way back. We even used to have our own board room here, now we still have our weekly rehearsals, drinks and chamber music events here. Our association really lives at X and brings X to life!
We are looking forward...
...to sharing our love for music with you. Music touches and inspires people. We have a lot of friends and roommates in the audience, who had never listened to classical music before, who enjoyed the music thoroughly. Do you also want to experience this? Are you going to be there?
