...for designing (wearable) jewellery and masks (art objects). My favourite design was a mask from bronze, silver and copper built out of several layers. What I like the most about jewellery design is that you work with your hands, and exploit various techniques in one project. Often it’s also wearable, so you can give it away as gift or wear it and be reminded of the hard work you put in it.
What inspires me...
...in the designing process is not really a person but things, people, objects, stories, artworks I see in my everyday life. A lot of projects are also inspired by mood and memories. As an artist I find it very rewarding to share my thoughts about art (my own or that of others) and zoom out to understand how others interpret it.
