Personal printing queue
You can enter several jobs simulaneously and print it later. If you have enter several jobs simultaneously, all printing jobs will be stored in your personal printing queue. You can then print off your printing jobs when you later register at the machine using your campus card. It is up to you to decide when you print off your documents.
On weekdays print jobs will remain stored for 8 hours. For example: a print job that you enter at 15:00 will remain stored until 23:00. Print jobs entered after 17:00 will remain stored up to 2 hours. At the weekend, print jobs will remain stored for 1 hour. If you have accidentally made an incorrect entry, you can easily remove the job from the queue.

To use these machines you need to pay with a Chipknip payment card; you do not need a Net ID.

The scanner facility enables you to digitise originals of texts and pictures in colour or black & white. You need your campuscard to use the machine. The default is for documents or images to be scanned in black & white, single-sided.
Technology
The scanned text (in the form of an image) can be converted into a text document that can be edited on a computer using OCR (optical character recognition) technology built into the multifunctional. The various scanning options (colour scanning, different resolutions, OCR) can be selected from the device’s Scanner Settings menu.
Your scan does not arrive
If your scan does not arrive at its destination, this may be due to one of the following:
- There is not enough space for the files in your personal folder.
The scan server will keep trying to post the files until space is available. - E-mail: the file is too large to e-mail, or the e-mail address does not exist.
In either case the scan will be deleted.
Who is this for?
Students and staff.
Applying
You can scan using your NetID and password.
Faults
Any faults should be reported to your Service Desk, stating the TUD number (on the sticker on the front of the system). N.B. You can use another multifunctional nearby to complete your jobs. You don't have to select your printer again.
Charges
There are no charges for scanning.

Starting October 1st 2012 the balance is 5 euro. This will allow you to print 250 black and white or 50 colour prints (A4 and A3 size are the same price). The copy function works with the same account balance.
The price of the prints are: black/white A3 or A4: € 0,02 / colour A3 or A4: € 0,10.
Double-sided printing: for every double-sided page you will pay 75% of the standard price.
If your balance is insufficient, you must replenish it. This can be done in two ways:
- Firstly via a website and your Dutch bank account and iDEAL. The website is hosted by a supplier of the TUDelft and can be found at the address https://tudelft.pcounterwebpay.com. This is a secure site. You can check this by looking at the padlock in the bottom right corner of your browser. It should be closed. When you finish a transaction you will be sent an email with the details. Check these too.
- Secondly: near the servicepoint of the central library you can find a paycube. Here you can deposit money using the contactless payment system.
