Special circumstances
Students may fall behind schedule in their studies as a result of circumstances that are unforeseen (e.g. illness, functional disorder, exceptional family circumstances, pregnancy). Any student who is affected by unforeseen circumstances, should contact the student counselor as soon as possible. The studentcounsellors will try to help you find a solution and, if relevant, are able to give information and advice about the possibilities regarding financial support and the procedures that should be followed, both in relation to RPF and to bodies external to TU Delft (such as the Information Management Group in the case of chronic illness or handicap). The academic counsellors are independent and treat all the matters they deal with as strictly confidential.
