Dr. H. (Himanshu) Verma

Profiel

Himanshu Verma is an Assistant Professor within the Knowledge and Intelligence Design Group of the Faculty of Industrial Design and Engineering at TU Delft. He is engaged in projects at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous Computing, and Social Cognition, and seeks to support collaboration between people and AI-powered systems, and also design AI systems which are attuned to human needs, experiences and concerns.

He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL). His dissertation examined the relationship between collaborating groups and their interactions with shared artifacts and environment, and how these interactions can inform us about the quality of ongoing collaboration.

Academische achtergrond

Prior to joining TU Delft, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Human-IST Institute at the University of Fribourg(Switzerland), the LEARN Center at EPFL (Switzerland), and the Human-Centered Computing Group of HES-SO Valais-Wallis (Switzerland).
