Continuing Professional Development trainings: Life Long learning for Lecturers

The first quarter of the academic year started off with 13 face-to-face trainings and 4 online sessions offered as part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) trainings by Teaching and Learning Services. Looking back:

In the recently revamped edition of the Extension School’s Professional Education course, Designing and Teaching an Online Course, 18 dedicated participants from diverse fields fully embraced the TUD Online Course Development Process and Online Learning Experience principles. Together, they created a dynamic and engaging learning community, sharing experiences, expertise, and diverse ways of delivering content and engaging learners. For example, they explored the use of badges created with visualthinkery to encourage online learners in their learning journey.

It was a valuable opportunity to learn from and alongside others how to effectively plan, produce, run, and evaluate an online course, with a strong focus on prioritizing learners and enhancing the quality of their learning experience.

Analysing Exam Results to Improve your Course:

Did you know we offer a training specialized in helping you to make improvements in your course based upon assessment analysis? In this course you will learn how to:

analyse to what extent your students master each learning objective.
Analyse the overall quality of the exam
Analyse the quality of individual sub-questions
Calculate individual grades from individual exam scores
adjust scoring and grading in case of quality issues
