From Theory to Practice: Educators Elevate Assessment with the Senior Examination Qualification

At the end of the academic year, many educators face the challenge of assessment. Beginning of July, a group of lecturers was also “facing each other” during their final live session of the Senior Examiner Qualification (SEQ). The participants worked on several assessment cases, presented their findings to the stakeholders involved and explored alternative assessment methods. Whilst the final homework is yet to be done, most are already very happy they participated in the trajectory. As one of the participants mentioned: "The SEQ created the ideal opportunity to critically reflect on our programmes and to think about ways for improvement. The live sessions were extremely useful and the interaction with my fellow participants really inspired me to take assessment at TU Delft to the next level, for students as well as teachers!"
