Enrolment a second degree programme
During your studies
You can follow one or more additional bachelor's or master's degree programmes at TU Delft or another Dutch educational institution during your studies.
Enrolment
You must submit an Enrolment application via Studielink for all programmes you wish to follow. This also applies to students who are following a Double Degree. Advanced-year students will have to submit a Re-enrolment application for all these programmes if they continue their studies.
Fee and Payment
There are no additional costs associated with following two or more programmes at the same time. You pay the statutory or institutional fee once. If you pay the statutory fee and complete the first degree programme, you may continue to pay the statutory fee for the second programme, on the condition that you remain enrolled for this programme without interruption.
If you are studying at another Dutch educational institution and you wish to follow a second degree programme at TU Delft, you must apply for a ‘Proof of paid tuition fee’ (known as a BBC). For information on how to apply for a BBC, please see the FAQ.
Please note: If the tuition fee amount on the BBC is lower than the fee of TU Delft, you must pay the difference to TU Delft. See the Tuition Fee & Finances webpage for the TU Delft tuition fees.
Do you pay the institutional fee at TU Delft and do you want to follow a second degree programme at another educational institution? Please contact that educational institution for information about the regulations and fees.
Please note: If you terminate your enrolment for one of the programmes, this may have consequences for your payment. See the Termination of Enrolment webpage for more information.
After obtaining your diploma
After completing a degree programme, it is possible to follow a second degree programme at TU Delft at the same level as the degree you have already obtained. For example, you have obtained a bachelor's degree and you want to follow a second bachelor's degree programme at TU Delft. No distinction is made between a higher professional education (hbo) or university degree.
Please note: It is permitted to follow the same degree programme again, but no new or additional diploma can be issued for this degree programme.

Fee and Payment
To follow a second degree programme of the same level as the degree you have already obtained, you pay the institutional fee. For students who are entitled to statutory fee, at TU Delft the institutional fee is set equal to the statutory fee in this case. Students who are not entitled to statutory fee pay the institutional fee.
