We are proud of our professional athletes

On 26 July, the Olympic flame will be lit in Paris and for two weeks we will be able to enjoy many great sporting performances by Team NL. Among the participants in the Olympic Games are nine top athletes who study or have studied at TU Delft.

TU Delft is very proud of all the athletes. The rowers; Roos de Jong, Laila Youssifou, Tessa Dullemans, Willemijn Mulder and Ralf Rienks will soon be competing against rowers from all over the world on the Olympic rowing course. Swimmer Sean Niewold is aiming for a great performance in the Aquatics Centre. Justen Blok is part of the Dutch hockey team, Jan Driessen is hoping to be part of the Dutch 3×3 basketball team and Annette Duetz and her sailing partner will be chasing a medal in the 49er FX class for the third time.

Their portraits can now be admired life-size in the entrance hall of X. In addition, Delta will publish a personal interview with one of the athletes each week.
