Call for Co-Creation: TU Delft at CDKM Day 2023
On the previous Monday, TU Delft participated in the annual City Deal Kennis Maken (CDKM) Day, a platform for exchanging best practices on how cities and higher education institutions can mutually benefit through civic engagement in education and research.
TU Delft received a grant earlier this year to collaborate on co-creation in education at the local level, together with its higher education partners in Delft – Hague University of Applied Sciences, Inholland, and ROC Mondriaan.
Project leader Saskia Postema had the opportunity to discuss our experiences in co-creation in transdisciplinary, multi-level education with minister Dijkgraaf. For example, the City Deal facilitated a TU Delft and the Hague University of Applied Sciences cross-over, where mixed student teams explored youth citizen participation in Delft-West.
Our goal is to expand these cross-curricular collaborations in the near future, by using authentic challenges that have been placed on the agenda by local citizen stakeholders themselves.
Get in touch with Saskia to know more about the CDKM initiative.
