To support the impact that different organizations have on the well-being of TU Delft students, the Student Community has set up a fund (as a follow-up to the NPO budget), which will be open until December 2024. This financial resource is available to aid the completion of preferably on- and all around campus activities that promote the welfare of TU Delft students by stimulating a sense of community and belonging at the university.
-
The main goal of the Student Community Fund is to support accessible opportunities for students to connect with each other. This fund can be used by associations and student organisations. Examples of events include, but are not limited to, study evenings, pizza and movie nights, or well-being lectures. However, the decision committee will consider the following guidelines when making the final decision:
Budget allocation throughout the event
The Student Community Fund can cover expenses ranging from food, logistic support for bonding activities (e.g., board games), and hiring professionals for well-being workshops. The fund will not cover expenses related to securing the location of the event, promotion costs, alcoholic beverages, or events already supported by a different framework of the university (e.g., freshmen weekends).
Event location
The Student Community Fund intents to engage students on and around campus; consequently, events located on university grounds will take priority over those off-campus. Furthermore, no trips will be considered for this budget.
Collaborative applications
The Student Community Fund is available to support initiatives that stimulate a sense of community among TU Delft students. Thus, co-creation activities that cater to a diverse audience will take priority over those that do not.
Exceptions from these guidelines
The committee in charge of allocating the Student Community Fund reserves the right to weigh these guidelines against the vision of each individual event application and decide upon committing financial resources to applications on a case-to-case basis. -
Are you inspired by the opportunity and freedom of the Student Community Fund? Then you can apply using the form on the right. Make sure to add as many details as possible, so we can properly evaluate your idea. The applications will be reviewed every 2 weeks by the committee and a response or request for further information will be provided.

The Student Community Fund is a limited financial resource available until the end of December 2024. Because of the available budget, only 'smaller' events will be discussed within the committee. The committee for approval meets every couple of weeks and will base their decision on the requirements listed on the Community Fund webpage. Once the complete fund has been spent, the Student Community Fund will be retired and applications will no longer be accepted. This will me then mentioned on this webpage.
