AccessAbility Week 2024
Calling attention to studying with disabilities, chronic conditions, neurodivergence and other support needs.
Did you know that more than 13 percent of the TU Delft student population have support needs due to disabilities, chronic illnesses or neurodivergence? This can affect their studies to varying degrees. In 2018, TU Delft signed the Declaration of Intent UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The TU is committed to becoming a university that is inclusive for all, offers a rich and diverse work and study environment, provides equal opportunities and brings people together. We are aware that this is a work in progress.
Achieving this ambition requires courage, collaboration, and involvement from all of us, including you!
From 3 until 6 June, Horizon and Student Onbeperkt are organising the AccessAbility Week to raise awareness for studying with disabilities, chronic illness, neurodivergence and other support needs.
We warmly invite everyone of the TU Delft community to join the various activities during this AccessAbility Week. You can discover diverse personal experiences, learn about the support TU Delft provides to students, and find out how you can contribute to accessible and inclusive education.
Do you enjoy informative workshops and awareness sessions, engaging panel discussions, thought-provoking lectures, or connecting dialogues? Then come join us at the AccessAbility Week from 3 – 6 June!
