Letizia Lanza

Letizia obtained her bachelor and master degree in Chemical Engineering in Politecnico di Milano. During her master, she spent a six-month period at KTH - Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm.
Letizia’s thesis project dealt with the electrification of reverse water-gas shift reactors. The investigation, in collaboration with an industrial partner, was carried out both from an experimental and from a modeling point of view.
In December 2024, she joined Prof. Urakawa’s group as a PhD student.
Her project, coordinated by the Institute for Sustainable Process Technology (ISPT), is part of the Long Term Program Process Technology (LTP) set up with Industry, TKI E&I and academia. The goal is to develop novel technologies for direct electrification of integrated CO2 capture and conversion.
