Jeroen Homan

After finishing a bachelor Chemistry at the University of Groningen and a master Materials Science & Engineering at the TU Delft, Jeroen joined the Catalysis Engineering group in September 2022. His research is focused on the processing of the catalyst layer of a Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC).

Applying different processing techniques or strategies to the catalyst layer will result into different interactions, structures, performances and durability of a PEMFC.

The relation between all the aforementioned phenomena is aimed to be explained with science.

Next to the Catalysis Engineering group, most of his research will be executed at Cellcentric in Stuttgart, which is a joint venture of Daimler and Volvo with the aim of mass producing PEM fuel cell systems for heavy transport applications.
