TU Delft Safety & Security Institute mandate has been renewed for another 5-year period to continue its work with and for the safety & security research community at TU Delft. For this next chapter of the institute, Behnam Taebi will hand over the directorship to Eleonora Papadimitriou and Justin Dauwels. Together they will take the lead as co-directors. With Mechanical Engineering joining, the institute now represents the safety & security communities of six faculties.

The department of Values, Technology & Innovation at the Faculty of Technology, Policy & Management has 4 vacancies for PhD candidates in the area of AI and road safety. Deadline for application is 31 January 2024.

Today, TU Delft Safety & Security Institute launches the magazine 'progreSSIon: Safety & Security in a Changing World'. It is published to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the institute, and presents a sample of the many innovative activities at TU Delft within the extensive fields of safety & security.

In June 2024 TU Delft Safety & Security Institute will again organize its annual course for young scholars (PhD students and postdocs) on the safe (& sustainable) by design approach.
