MyCase

As of Q2 of academic year 2024-2025, all MSc students of the programmes Civil Engineering (CIE), Applied Earth Sciences (AES), Environmental Engineering (ENV), Construction Management and Engineering (CME), and Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics (TIL) who are starting their thesis-preparation module or thesis (in case of TIL), need to make use of a new digital tool called MyCase for their thesis procedure. If you have started your MSc thesis (prep) before Q2 2024-2025 you can continue and finish the thesis procedure that applied to your programme when you started, which are listed on this website. This also applies to CIE and AES students of cohort 21/22 and earlier who are still finishing the former CIE and AES programmes and all students of the MSc Applied Geophysics. You do not have to use MyCase.

MyCase will help you with several aspects of your thesis process like registering, planning, submission of documents and registration and approval of supervisors and assessors. You will have a clear overview in MyCase of all tasks that are asked of you through each phase of the process. All staff involved in your thesis are also able to access your case and can perform tasks in MyCase like approving your registration, assessment committee and reviewing your submitted documentation. You can access MyCase via this link or the yellow button below, sign in with your NetID an create a case when you are starting your thesis prep or thesis but only as of Q2 of academic year 2024-2025. More specific information for students and staff of each programme can be found via the buttons below as well as manuals for the usage of MyCase and a FAQ.
