Scott Cunningham and Cees van Beers received 154,000 euro funding for the BigProd project (total budget of 1 million euro), which was funded by H2020.

NWO has selected four projects to receive funding in the first round of the Connecting Worlds of Knowledge call of the Urbanising Deltas of the World (UDW) research and innovation programme. All four projects are led by main applicants from the global south. TPM researchers are involved in three of these projects. The projects are aimed at enhancing the use and translation of UDW research results for innovation and implementation in delta management and policies.

On Thursday 22 August 2019, Delft University of Technology's second Grand Challenge Accepted Conference will take place on the TU Delft Campus in The Hague. Students from the Master's degree programme in Engineering and Policy Analysis will present their graduation research at the conference.

On Friday 28 June, TPM researcher Angelo Vermeulen will give a lecture at the Universiteit van Nederland about surviving on the moon. He will explain how to create a viable ecosystem in space that can sustain itself. And you will hear how you can mentally prepare yourself for a life in space.

Marinus van Haaften has received a Doctoral Grant for Teachers. He is one of twenty-six laureates. The grants provide teachers with an opportunity to further develop their capabilities and strengthen ties between universities and schools. Van Haaften is researcher at TPM and works for Inholland University of Applied Sciences. His research focuses on Forecasting production and modelling the market supply of greenhouse vegetables.
