Chris van Bergen nominated for TU Delft Best Graduate Award 2019
Delft University Fund announced the eight TU Delft Best Graduates of 2019. Each faculty has named their Best Graduate 2019, totalling a number of eight talented recently graduated engineers. <link universiteitsfonds talentontwikkeling prijzen best-graduate genomineerden-2019 chris-van-bergen>Chris van Bergen is best graduate of TPM and will vie for the prize with her thesis on public support for tradable peak credits as an instrument to reduce traffic jams. On November 12, during the TU Delft Best Graduate Award Ceremony 2019, the Best Graduates will present their excellent master theses.
TU Delft Best Graduate 2019 Award Ceremony
Each year, the Best Graduate Awards are presented during the TU Delft Best Graduate Award Ceremony 2019 which will take place in the Aula Conference Centre at 16.00hrs on Tuesday 12 November. The engineers will present their master thesis research and results. The jury, consisting of Prof. R.F. Mudde Vice-Rector Magnificus/Vice President Education, Prof. P.A. Wieringa, Prof.dr. J. Dankelman, Best Graduate of the Faculty Industrial Design Engineering 2018 ir. A. van Lieren, MSc and Drs. E.A. Esveld, Executive Director, Delft University Fund, will decide who will ultimately win the TU Delft Best Graduate Award 2019.
All eight Best Graduates will receive the Best Graduate Medal and Certificate of Excellence in recognition of their master thesis work, their personal dedication and their overall study results and the manner in which they have achieved them. Each Best Graduate also receives a personal prize of 1,000 euro. The ultimate TU Delft Best Graduate 2019 will be awarded with the statuette on the road towards a bright future, an additional sum of 2,500 euro, a KIVI membership and a new laptop, kindly sponsored by Dell.
