Exchange Online may affect the e-mail availability of your students in June and July

Provided by IT

All TU Delft employees’ mailboxes have been successfully migrated to Exchange Online over the past few months. As a result, the mailboxes are more secure, more storage space is available and integration with other applications such as Teams and Outlook has been improved. The next step is to migrate the mailboxes of all 26,000 students to Exchange Online. This will take place in June and July. This will be done in stages, by faculty. Students will be informed through a number of channels, including email.

However, it is possible that some students may experience problems with their mailboxes. The migration has been planned with the academic year in mind as much as possible. However, please be aware that urgent emails sent to students in your department around the migration date may not be read immediately.
Below is the timetable for students:

The move to Exchange Online is part of the Digital Workspace. The focus is on providing a modern digital working environment that allows staff and students to work, collaborate and study at TU Delft effortlessly and securely.
