Hydro Lab

The Hydro Lab, short for Hydrometallurgy Lab, is run by Shoshan Abrahami and her co-researchers. This is where TU Delft researchers investigate hydrometallurgical recycling to find better ways to reuse critical raw materials recovered from batteries.

Geoscience and Engineering Lab

The Geoscience and Engineering Lab at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences is equipped with advanced instruments and testing setups to qualify and quantify chemical and physical processes in rocks and soils under deep and shallow in-situ conditions. More information about the lab can be found here, and visits are possible by appointment.

Battery Lab

TU Delft’s Reactor Institute is also home to a Battery Lab dedicated to materials research. The TU Delft Reactor Institute (RID), together with the Radiation, Science & Technology (RST) department, has been the Dutch centre of excellence for radiation-related research and education for 60 years. The Reactor Institute and the Battery Lab can be visited by appointment.
