Social safety

On 1 March, the Education Inspectorate published a critical report on social safety at TU Delft. The report’s conclusion was that the university’s care for its employees and social safety were inadequate. A severe conclusion that did not leave the university unmoved. The ‘Plan for Change’ is the roadmap for working together towards a more socially safe university. Education Inspectorate’s reaction to Plan for Change

This week, the Education Inspectorate shared its findings on TU Delft's social safety improvement plan: the Plan for Change. In its findings, the inspectorate is very critical on many points.

Socially unsafe behaviour is unacceptable and should not be ignored, trivialised or condoned. We want everyone who works or studies at TU Delft to have a safe working environment where people treat each other with respect.

TU Delft stresses need for permanent improvement in social safety

In response to the Inspectorate’s report into social safety among employees at the university, TU Delft stresses that social safety deserves priority, ongoing attention and improvement. TU Delft takes the inspectorate's recommendations on board in its improvement process.
