Collaborate in Delft Design Labs
Delft Design Labs (DDLs) provide unique opportunities for organisations and academic institutes to collaborate on theme-based design innovation. These labs act as catalysts for knowledge development and design innovation around a specific theme or societal challenge. DDLs provide a platform for multi-stakeholder collaboration on focused societal challenges, ranging from the design of automated mobility, to the design of critical alarms in hospitals, to the design of healthy and sustainable food solutions. They bring together researchers, students, academic institutions, and societal and industrial partners in a neutral, well-structured environment where multiple organisations can actively collaborate and engage in research and innovation efforts around a specific theme.
-
- Access to state-of-the-art knowledge built up over time by a consortium of partners and researchers focused on a topic or challenge relevant to you.
- Organised structure for research and innovation with clearly defined objectives.
- Opportunities to engage in both project-based and long-term partnerships.
- Connect with ambitious design students, researchers and other industry partners focused on your theme of interest.
- Neutral platform for cross-stakeholder collaboration, fostering unique synergies.
- Experience the design approach in a dynamic, experimental atmosphere.
- Partnership opportunities range from project-based to long-term engagements and are open to companies, societal organisations, governments, academic institutions and researchers.
- Collaboration takes place within a well-structured, innovative research environment with a thematic focus.
- IP remains in most cases within the lab, specific IP arrangements will be discussed and agreed upon per project.
