Career Prospects

This programme aims to equip students with both theoretical and applied knowledge and expertise, preparing them for careers in both industrial and academic environments. The biotech, food and biopharmaceutical industries offer career opportunities. Graduates may also enter the healthcare field, and move into positions at fundamental research institutions.

Many previous candidates have gone on to work for large multinational companies such as DSM, Unilever, AkzoNobel and Shell.

Graduates may also choose to apply for traineeships in engineering design offered through TU Delft's PDEng (Professional Development in Engineering) programmes.

Graduates may also wish to continue in academia by conducting PhD Research.
