What attracted you to a MSc in Aerospace engineering? 
I choose the BSc in aerospace engineering because I always enjoyed math and physics in high school, so I wanted to go to a Technical University. I visited TU Delft during the open days and decided on applying for the AE BSc. I ended up really enjoying both my studies and living in Delft, that is why I also choose to do the MSc in AE here. 

How did you make your MSc selection? 
I attended the lunch lectures during the MSc weeks at the faculty, as well as the MSc drinks event at the end. This gave me the opportunity to talk to the MSc teaching staff and students and get a better idea of the different MSc tracks.

What attracted you to Structures & Materials? 
There were some courses during the BSc that I enjoyed the most, such as ‘mechanics of materials’ for example, that pushed me towards this specific track. During my BSc end project, I was responsible for the structural design, and nobody else was interested in this so that convinced me that I must do something with it.  

What is your overall experience with your MSc in AE? 
I really like it. Because you have freedom in the selection of the courses, I find it more interesting than my BSc. I also enjoyed meeting new people. Another aspect that I love is the fact that professors are much more approachable than during the BSc. 

What do you like most about your MSc in AE? 
The international environment. 

What is a golden tip you would give to upcoming MSc students? 
Explore extracurricular activities. Studying is important but don’t forget to enjoy everything Delft has to offer.
