Nominees 2018

On May 16, 2018, the award ceremony of the Marina van Damme Grant 2018 took place. The jury nominated no less than four candidates for the 9.000 euro grant:

• Gianna Bottema, Architecture (Arch)
• Preethi Ramamurthy, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science (EEMCS)
• Rianne Houba, Industrial Design Engineering (IDE)
• Martha Deen, Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG). 

Martha Deen, alumna faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG), became the winner of this prestigious grant. With her ambitious plan to map the energy potential of the ocean, she convinced the jury. Read more.
