Let’s talk diversity: Coming Out for Who We Are
Diversity Talks is a series of free events that provides an open space to discuss and better understand diversity and inclusion. We will explore aspects of diversity within the context of science, technology and education as well as the work we do here as students, staff and management.
In this first presentation, dr. Aminata Cairo explored what it means to embrace diversity and an inclusive learning environment for an institution that has to navigate between old traditions and new desires and goals. What are the challenges, and is it really that difficult? Although at TU Delft we often look for practical solutions, we now require a completely different approach. What does our community need? This is new territory, but we at TU Delft are not afraid of a challenge.
