Maartje van der Meer
I am Maartje van der Meer and as of October 2024 I joined the Optoelectronic Materials (OM) group as a PhD candidate. I obtained my BSc degree in Molecular, Science and Technology at the TU Delft and Leiden University. After that I finished the master Chemical Engineering here at the TU Delft, with a MSc thesis about additive engineering in mixed SnPb perovskites.
My PhD project is part of the SolarNL program and focusses on the identification and possible mitigation of Voc losses in wide bandgap metal halide perovskites made via vacuum deposition. Halide phase segregation upon illumination is one specific phenomenon that will be investigated, looking into the structure and crystallinity of the material as well as the charge carrier dynamics. The latter are studied via Time-resolved Microwave Conductivity (TRMC).
