Her collaboration network expands across Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia.

Abstract research:
In her PhD, Amanda studies with whose participation, what interventions, what capacities, and under which pathways would a carbon-intensive region shift toward low-carbon and just futures. As part of her PhD, Amanda is a member and co-lead at the consortium Tipping Plus, a H2020 project, in which researchers and societal organizations analyze 20+ regions across the world. She studies the role of diverse stakeholders and governance institutions in the shaping of just energy transitions at a regional level. When analyzing alternative energy pathways, Amanda includes the perceptions of energy justice, local needs, and opportunities. She then, draws future scenarios and pathways with the participation of stakeholders.

Hobbies:
Amanda likes dancing everything, outdoor sports, playing folk music with the guitar, eating sour food, being around animals, and contemplating the ocean.
