FAST for study associations

In September 2019, Delft University Fund launched FAST. FAST is the student committee of Delft University Fund. FAST refers to Funding Ambitious Students TU Delft. Together with FAST, Delft University Fund will focus on grant applications which clearly reflect ambition and are related to a TU Delft study programme or TU Delft knowledge and technology. FAST consists of a group of students who can answer questions about grant possibilities and grant applications. FAST is available for questions or online consultations via fast-fund@tudelft.nl

Grant

One application per calendar year to a maximum of €500,- This application can be for a study trip, organisation of an event or anything else which is related to a TU Delft study programme or TU Delft knowledge and technology.

Events

Working on the organisation of your own event related to technology at TU Delft? And is this a new event and organised for the first time? Check the Events webpage to see if your event is eligible for funding.

Crowdfunding

Don’t you meet the current grant criteria or do you need to raise additional funds? You might want to consider crowdfunding. FAST offers the opportunity to set up a crowdfunding campaign using the TU Delft crowdfunding platform.

The Study Associations Grant

Conditions

- You are a study association or master association

- The event that you need funding for is related to the TU Delft study programme or TU Delft knowledge and technology

- You have not already been granted the study association grant this calender year

- The application is for a maximum amount of €500,-

Requirements

We believe that working together with the study associations of TU Delft, we from FAST can enhance the importance of the University Fund amongst students and make our grants more accessible to your members. Study associations have many promotional channels in which they interact with their members every day. Using the outreach and target group of these channels would be of great help for us to make FAST better known among all students. We therefore ask study associations to help us to spread the word.

In return for a grant we ask you to post:

1. One general information post or video about the FAST committee and our grants.

2. One ‘inspiration wall’ post with an example of a student who recieved a grant (preferably of your own faculty).

Once your application has been granted you will be given a website link to a webpage with all the promotional material ready to use.

FAST offers every Monday between 12.45-13.30 a consultation hour in the TU Delft Aula, ground floor, next to the reception. Everyone is welcome to drop by. You can also contact us for a personal meeting. Contact us via fast-fund@tudelft.nl and we will schedule a meeting!
