Body Power focusses on increasing your strength and stamina. Repeating a range of exercises using dumbells, steps and a barbell will help you train your muscle groups, in particular your leg, back and chest muscles. Body Power is not intended to make you big and muscular, but intends to make you stronger and increase your muscle stamina.
During the Body Power lessons you perform a range of exercises under the guidance of an instructor. The lesson starts with a warming-up routine to get your muscles ready for action. This is followed by a series of simple yet effective exercises for your large muscle groups which are focused on strength and stamina. The lesson finishes with some cooling-down exercises. For all the exercises you are given an indication on how much weight to use, so you can train at your own level.
