A reflective workshop designed to stimulate dialogue around student guidance practices, amongst different stakeholder groups at the university.
Project Background
As part of TU Delft's duty of care, it has been formalised that education and the educational environment at the university are designed in such a way that they support student well-being. Apart from the statutory duty of care, TU Delft has formulated its own ambitions in the field of student welfare based on its involvement with its students. These ambitions translate into a pursuit of more student success and is expressed in, among other things, the Vision on Student Guidance.
Approach
The workshops are creatively facilitated to bring student needs to the forefront of stakeholders' role as a guide. The workshops encourage support staff to reflect on their current and envisioned roles, responsibilities, competencies and mindsets as a student guide and in alignment with the student guidance vision. Lastly, the workshops offer space to explore challenges that the stakholders may face and ideation to improve student guidance at TU Delft.
