Student initiatied workshops and events to help students build emotional resilience in a low-key environment.
Project Background
As part of TU Delft's duty of care, it has been formalised that education and the educational environment at the university are designed in such a way that they support student well-being. Apart from the statutory duty of care, TU Delft has formulated its own ambitions in the field of student welfare based on its involvement with its students. These ambitions translate into a pursuit of more student success and is expressed in, among other things, the Vision on Student Guidance.
Approach
Several stakeholders from the student guidance chain were interviewed (Appendix I) and visualised to illustrate the interactions and connections amongst them, to provide students with proactive, preventive, professional, accessible and approachable guidance. Furthermore, roles, responsibilities, competences, mind-sets, and behaviours of each stakeholder are described based on current practices evident from support staff interviews.
