Brightspace Courses for the 2023-24 Academic Year
As the start of the next academic year approaches, TLS has an update about the preparation of the Brightspace courses.
During the summer, the Teaching Support team copied the content of Brightspace courses from the previous academic year to the current academic year. Teaching Support had the task of copying roughly two thousand courses one by one.
On 27 July 2023, courses were made available to all registered course managers. Depending on the agreements made with the faculty, a course is made available with or without the content copied from the previous academic year:
- For the faculties IDE, AS & A+BE: Courses are available without content from the previous academic year.
- For faculties AE, CEG, EEMCS, 3ME & TPM: Courses come with a copy of last year's content.
For courses without content, the instructions on how to copy can be found on the Teaching Support website. When copying a course, you can select which content you would like to copy to this coming year’s Brightspace course.
