Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria, is Australia’s second-largest city. It is vibrant, culturally diverse and characterised by its friendly people and atmosphere. The University of Melbourne is five minutes from the centre of Melbourne, a leafy campus with cafes, shops and spectacular architecture. The university has been ranked number one in Australia by the Times Higher Education World University Ranking in 2018.
Please note that Semester 1 is from end of February until end of June and Semester 2 is from end of July until end of November, so when going for semester 2 you won't be able to take any resits in August at TU Delft.

Students may take any combination of courses from the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Science and the Melbourne School of Engineering. There are pre-requisites for some courses which can be found in the handbook. Some faculties have restricted courses that are not open for exchange students. These you can find on each faculty website.

The University of Queensland, or UQ, is ranked among the top universities in the world and offers more than 4000 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Located in Queensland capital, Brisbane, the university’s location is ideal for study and recreation.

The University of Queensland offers a wide range of course at all of their six faculties. Information can be found here. Some courses offered by UQ are pre-approved for Study Abroad and Exchange students.This means that you don't need any special permission from UQ to enrol in the course. You can still apply for courses that aren't pre-approved, but you will need to show that you have met the pre-requisites.
Exchange students have to take a minimum of 8 credit units (=30 ECTS) during one semester at UQ.
