We offer various opportunities for an international experience during your MSc programme. One of those is a semester exchange to one of our 70+ partner universities that we have an exchange agreement with. You can find the current partners on our website.
There are also short-term study abroad options, like the Athens programme. For more information about all the possibilities, the application procedure and our partner universities, you can subscribe for the Brightspace page Student Exchange programmes Aerospace Engineering
Requirements for MSc electives abroad
When you want to replace your MSc electives with courses abroad, there are several requirements you have to meet:
- The course is taken at one of the partner universities from the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. An overview with the partner universities can be found on our Brightspace page Student Exchange programmes Aerospace Engineering.
- The MSc track coordinator has approved the course for the MSc elective.
- When the course is passed, the official transcript is send directly to the Faculty’s Board of Examiners either via email boardofexaminers-ae@tudelft.nl or hardcopy to Board of Examiners, Kluyverweg 1, 2629 HS Delft. The Board of Examiners will forward this to the Student Programme Administration department (SPA-LR) after having verified the results, so it can be processed in MyTUDelft. Please note, a transcript directly received from the student is not sufficient. Furthermore, the course(s) that have been successfully completed will be registered with a V (voldoende/sufficient) in MyTUDelft. Also the actual grades that have been completed will be registered in MyTUDelft. Credit conversion has been determined by the Board of Examiners.
- Students from cohort 2017-2018 and onwards will register the MSc elective course via mystudyplanning.tudelft.nl. A student from a cohort before 2017-2018 will use the Form for Changes in AE MSc programme to officially request the course to be processed as a MSc elective.
When you are interested to go abroad for your Internship, you can subscribe for Brightspace course AE5051 and read about the options.
Another possibility is to do your MSc thesis at a foreign company or research institute, please have a look on the page ‘Master Thesis AE’ on Brightspace for more information.
