Supplement to the OER 2020-2021

Supplement to TER 2020-2021 with regard to admission requirements for BSc and MSc programmes, with regard to the Binding Recommendation on continuation of studies and the Registration for examinations.
 
1a. Admission to Bachelor’s degree programmes (Article 3)

Article 3 is, according to the Tweede Verzamelspoedwet COVID-19, supplemented with sections 3a and 3b concerning conditional admission, and reads:

VO -> bacheloropleiding section 3a. For the academic year 2020-2021, in addition to section 1 of this article, students referred to in section 1a may be admitted conditionally provided that they make it plausible that, before 1 January 2021, they:

  • have successfully completed the NT2-II language exam, or
  • have passed the state examination in Dutch as a second language or have otherwise demonstrated that they meet the required language level, and
  • have eliminated any other deficiencies by taking one or more state exams. 

If, on 1 January 2021, they do not meet the conditions for admission referred to in article 3, they will be unenrolled from the degree programme.

HBO propedeuse -> bacheloropleiding section 3b. For the academic year 2020-2021, in addition to section 1 of this article, students referred to in section 1b may be admitted conditionally provided that they:

  • By 1 August 2020 at the latest, TU Delft has received a completion recommendation from their HBO (University of Applied Sciences) showing that it is likely they will successfully complete the relevant first year before 1 January 2021, and
  • on the basis of which the degree programme has made a positive assessment.
  • For supplementary requirements  > BSc programmes

If, on 1 January 2021, students have not met the admission requirements referred to in article 3, they will be unenrolled from the degree programme.

1b. Admission to the Master’s degree programme (Article 3)

Article 3 is, according to the Tweede Verzamelspoedwet COVID-19, supplemented with section 3 (conditional admission), which reads: For the academic year  2020-2021, in the context of the outbreak of COVID-19, students who were enrolled at a Dutch university or HBO (University of Applied Sciences) in the 2019-2020 academic year may be conditionally admitted provided that, on 31 August 2020, they:

  • have a deficit not exceeding 15 ECTS for the Bachelor’s degree audit of the Bachelor’s programme referred to in this article, or
  • have a deficit not exceeding 15 ECTS for completion of the bridging programme referred to in this article, but:
  • meet the supplementary requirements, see MSC programmes

If, on 31 August 2021, students have not met the admission requirements referred to in article 3, they will be unenrolled from the degree programme.

2. (Negative) Binding Recommendation on the continuation of studies (Article 27)

Article 27 is supplemented with Section 10. This reads as follows: Students who obtained fewer than 45 credits in their first year of the degree programme in the 2019-2020 academic year and for whom the binding recommendation on the continuation of studies has been automatically postponed as a result of the amended regulation for the binding recommendation on the continuation of studies for the 2019-2020 academic year in the context of COVID-19, must have obtained all remaining credits from the first year of the degree programme in a subsequent academic year. Students who have not obtained all remaining credits by the end of a subsequent academic year will receive a final negative binding recommendation on the continuation of studies.

3. Registration for written examinations (Article 13)

Registration to participate in a written examination, on-campus or online, is compulsory and is done by entering the requested data into Osiris at least 6 calendar days before the examination. Students receive a confirmation of their registration by email. Waiting lists and last minute registrations are no longer possible. PLEASE NOTE: the last minute procedure has been cancelled by the CvB with effect from this academic year.

 

[Translate to English:] Aanvulling op OER 2020-2021 ten aanzien van toelatingseisen BSc en MSc opleidingen, ten aanzien van het Bindend studieadvies en de aanmelding voor tentamens.

1a. Toelating bacheloropleiding (Artikel 3) 

Artikel 3 wordt  ingevolge de Tweede Verzamelspoedwet COVID-19 aangevuld met lid 3a en lid 3b met betrekking tot voorwaardelijke toelating, luidende:

VO -> bacheloropleiding lid 3a. Voor het studiejaar 2020-2021 geldt dat in aanvulling op lid 1 van dit artikel de student genoemd in lid 1a voorwaardelijk kan worden toegelaten mits deze student aannemelijk maakt dat hij voor 1 januari 2021:

  • met goed gevolg de taaltoets NT2-II heeft afgerond, of
  • het staatsexamen Nederlands als tweede taal heeft gehaald of anderszins aantoont aan het vereiste taalniveau te voldoen, en eventuele andere deficiënties middels het afleggen van staatsexamen heeft weggewerkt.

Wanneer de student op 1 januari 2021 niet voldoet aan in artikel 3 gestelde toelatingseisen, wordt de student uitgeschreven van de opleiding.

HBO propedeuse -> bacheloropleiding: lid 3b. Voor het studiejaar 2020-2021 geldt dat in aanvulling op lid 1 van dit artikel de student genoemd in lid 1b voorwaardelijk kan worden toegelaten mits deze student: 

  • Uiterlijk 1 augustus 2020 een afrondingsadvies van zijn HBO instelling aan TU Delft heeft verstrekt waaruit blijkt dat het in de rede ligt dat de student voor 1 januari 2021 de betreffende propedeuse afrondt en op basis waarvan de opleiding positief heeft geoordeeld.

Wanneer de student op 1 januari 2021 niet voldoet aan de in artikel 3 gestelde toelatingseisen, wordt de student uitgeschreven van de opleiding.

1b. Toelating masteropleiding (Artikel 3) 
Artikel 3 wordt ingevolge de Tweede Verzamelspoedwet COVID-19 aangevuld met lid 3 (voorwaardelijke toelating), luidende: Voor het studiejaar 2020-2021 geldt dat in verband met de uitbraak van COVID-19 de student die in het studiejaar 2019/2020 stond ingeschreven aan een Nederlandse Universiteit of HBO instelling voorwaardelijk kan worden toegelaten mits deze student op 31 augustus 2020:

  • maximaal 15 EC tekort komt voor het afsluitend bachelorexamen van de in dit artikel genoemde bacheloropleiding, of
  • maximaal 15 EC tekort komt om tot afronding van het in dit artikel genoemde schakelprogramma te komen, maar

Wanneer de student op 31 augustus 2021 niet voldoet aan de in artikel 3 gestelde toelatingseisen, wordt de student uitgeschreven van de opleiding.

2. (Negatief) Bindend Studieadvies (Artikel 27)
Artikel 27 wordt aangevuld met lid 10. Dit luidt als volgt: De student die in het studiejaar 2019-2020 minder dan 45 studiepunten in zijn eerste jaar van de opleiding heeft gehaald en ten aanzien van wie het bindend studieadvies als gevolg van de voor het studiejaar 2019-2020 aangepaste regeling voor bindend studieadvies in verband met COVID-19 automatisch is uitgesteld, dient in een volgend studiejaar alle resterende studiepunten uit het eerste jaar van de opleiding behaald te hebben. De student die niet aan het eind van een volgend studiejaar alle resterende studiepunten heeft behaald, ontvangt een definitief negatief bindend studieadvies.

3. Aanmelden schriftelijke tentamens (Artikel 13)
De aanmelding voor deelname aan een schriftelijk tentamen, on-campus of online, is verplicht en geschiedt door invoering van de gevraagde gegevens in Osiris, uiterlijk 6 kalenderdagen voor het tentamen. De student ontvangt hierover per email een bevestiging. LET OP: de last minute procedure is dit studiejaar bij CvB besluit komen te vervallen
