Outsite

Outsite is Delft's LGBT+ youth association for everyone up to 28 years. Feel free to come by during our bar nights, every Thursday from 21:00!

Outsite is Delft's LGBTQI+ youth association. It's a place where everyone can be themselves. Whether you identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, straight, or anything else, everyone is welcome. With our weekly bar night on Thursdays (from 21:00), varied parties and activities throughout the year, Outsite has grown into a cozy and fun place for everyone up to (and including) 28 years.

The association's secondary purpose is as an advocacy group for LGBT+ acceptance in the Delft area. We work together with TU Delft and True U by organising activities on Coming Out Day and Purple Friday, and collaborate in events with other student societies in Delft. In addition, Outsite pushes the municipality of Delft to maintain their position as one of the most LGBT+ friendly cities in the Netherlands. We also make sure that the visibility of our community is improved and respected within the TU Delft.

The best way to become acquainted with Outsite is by taking part in an introduction group ('kennismakingsgroep' or 'KMG'), starting in both first and second semesters of the academic year in English and Dutch. You will have the chance to join a safe space, where your privacy is the main priority, to learn more about our community, share your experiences and get to know fellow LGBT+ youth/students.
