From application to enrollment
As from academic year 2025, the BSc programme Applied Earth Sciences will be renewed. We aim to continue the revised programme under a new name: Earth, Climate and Technology. The redesign of the programme is done to better align with the societal need for sustainable solutions to global challenges such as climate change, the energy transition and availability of scarce resources.
Are you going to apply for this programme? Please register in Studielink under the previous Dutch name ‘Technische Aardwetenschappen’. In case of the planned name change, after the start of the new academic year in September 2025, all enrolments will be updated to the new name: Earth, Climate and Technology.
Want to apply for the Bachelor of Earth, Climate and Technology? Then there are a number of steps you need to take:
1. First, check whether you meet all the admission requirements. If you do not meet these, you cannot follow this bachelor's programme.
2. Register no later than 1 May, because then you are entitled to a study choice check. TU Delft also accepts registrations for the Earth, Climate and Technology programme between May 1 and September 1, but you will then lose the right to a study choice check. With an international diploma, the deadline is always 1 April.
NB: In Studielink, BSc Earth, Climate and Technology is registered under the Dutch name 'Technische Aardwetenschappen'.
3. Dive into the study choice check.
It is important to TU Delft that you make the right choice. That is why we offer the study choice check, on which you also receive feedback. With the study choice check we help you to make a well-considered final study choice. Once you have registered in Studielink, you will receive further information on this. The study choice check is not compulsory for the Earth, Climate and Technology programme, but we do recommend it.
