Master programme Earth, Climate and Technology

The English taught master's programme at Earth, Climate and Technology is an two-year MSc programme in which you will gain in-depth knowledge and develop skills that are important in the work of an international engineer. During your master's, you choose a field in which to specialise; Geo-Resources, Geo-Energy, Earth Observation or Climate and Weather. Besides attending lectures, many courses involve working on complex research questions. You will gain extensive experience in using various equipment and computer programmes and in presenting and conversing in English. At the end of the programme, you will be a Master of Science (MSc).

Other master's degree programmes at the faculty

Besides the master's programme of Earth, Climate and Technology, you can choose from the following programmes at the faculty. Some master's programmes require you to choose an extra subject or certain minor within your bachelor's programme. Applied Geophysics is a Joint Master Programme between TU Delft, ETH Zurich and RWTH Aachen.

Master's degree programmes at other faculties or universities

With a Bachelor's degree in Earth, Climate and Technology from TU Delft, you can go in many different directions. Besides starting a master's within your faculty, you can also choose to do a master's at another faculty, university or abroad. In some cases, the bachelor's degree may not contain all the foundation you need for the master's you wish to pursue, in which case you will have to follow a bridging programme.
