Common locations
If the code consists of three letters and three digits (AAA123), the book is situated in the open book wall of the Central Library. You can search for and borrow the book yourself through the self-service station. The collection is listed in alphabetical order of place codes, see the map for an overview.
If the code consists of 8 digits (12345678) the book is situated in the Central Library depository. This is referred to by the term "closed stacks". To borrow the book, you must make a request. The magazines are also in the repository and you can request them.
If the code consists of BK, a letter, a Roman numeral and regular digit(s) (BK.A.III.123) the book is situated in the open book wall of the Library of Architecture. You can search and borrow the book yourself through the self-service station. The collection is divided into several categories, see the floor plan for an overview. The journals are located on the top floor of the Library of Architecture.
If it concerns the digital collection, it depends on the agreements with the publisher whether you can only view the online material or also (partly) download it. To view the online material, you must be connected to the TU Delft network. If you are not a TU Delft staff member or student, you can only view the digital collection on the dedicated "Search and Go" computers in the Central Library and the Library of Architecture.

Specific locations
If the code begins with TR, the material is in the Trésor of the Central Library. The Trésor contains historical books, journals, maps, photographs and prints from before 1900. The material is too valuable and vulnerable to loan. Would you like to see the Trésor materials? Please send an email to library@tudelft.nl to make an appointment.
If the code starts with KK the material is in the Map Room in the Library of Architecture. There you will find an extensive collection of Dutch topographic and thematic maps. The collection gives a complete picture of the development of the Netherlands from about 1850 to the present. Visit the website of the Map Room for more information.
