Obituary notice Professor Tillmann Klein
It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Professor Tillmann Klein, a cherished and kind-hearted colleague, who died last Saturday 17 June 2023, following a protracted fight with cancer. We send our condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and students, wishing them strength throughout this trying time of unfathomable loss.
Klein was Professor of Building Product Innovation, innovative creator of the Circular Built Environment Hub – a cross-departmental, dedicated community teaching and conducting research on circularity – and a leader in online education for circularity and sustainability in architectural practice and the build industry. He was a strategic thinker and an empathic leader, generous with his knowledge and passionate about inspiring and motivating everyone around him. His passing is a great loss for our university community.
