Hidden Hortus: The World of Mosses with Harold Timans

Harold Timans takes you on a tour to discover The World of Mosses. 

Mosses are the miniatures of flowering plants people learn to appreciate when attention is paid to the little details. When you do, you'll notice mosses all around you. Despite their minute size, mosses are able to cope with remarkable conditions. The biology enabling them to do so is quite amazing. During this tour we will look at many of the most common species and how you can identify them. You'll learn what mosses are and what they look like. It is advised to bring a hand lens with you to properly examine the mosses. We'll encounter some lichens as well during the tour.
