Nowadays digital devices perceive and apprehend the world through "datification". If perception is a gear prior to action, the sensors and databases we build determine the type of action that these machines will project in our reality. In other words, the spectrum of what it is possible to do with these technologies is largely dependent on the type of data with which we feed them. How can we encourage imagination and creativity to generate other types of data and sensors that do not serve only for control, surveillance and commoditization? Can we understand digital perception not only as a technical issue, but also as a political one?
