Short Bio Dr Katharine Willis:

Dr. Katharine S. Willis is a Professor in Smart Cities and Communities at the School of Art, Design and Architecture at University of Plymouth. An Architect by training, her research expertise includes smart cities, smart villages, digital technologies and the role of social and spatial inclusion. She is co-author with Alex Aurigi of two key Routledge volumes: Digital and Smart Cities and the Routledge Companion to Smart Cities and has published over fifty publications in the field. She is programme lead for the MA in Smart Urban Futures; a unique teaching offer to train future leaders in the design of smart cities.
