TU Delft’s Alumni Network Energy Transition (ANET) organises an exclusive company visit at Ampelmann, located in the heart of the Rotterdam harbour. This is a unique opportunity to experience cutting-edge offshore innovation firsthand.

Ampelmann, founded in 2008 by TU Delft alumni Jan van der Tempel and Arjan Göbel, started as a spin-off of Delft University of Technology / YES!Delft. The company specialises in motion-compensated gangway systems, providing safe and efficient provides safe and efficient access to offshore platforms. During this event you’ll get a behind-the-scenes tour of Ampelmann’s production facilities and Innovation Dock, housed in the Rotterdam Harbour.

Before the tour, Innovation Manager Friso Lippmann from TU Delft’s Innovation & Impact Centre will offer insightful perspectives on Offshore Renewables & Climate Action. He will discuss the key players in the sector, current challenges and ambitions within the sector, and how TU Delft is actively driving innovation.
