Lifetime Estimation is an important step in the development of any product. With the expected increase in EV chargers in the coming decades, it is important to estimate the lifetime of these EV chargers. In this thesis, the lifetime of a DC Fast Charger is calculated based on the lifetime of the DC-DC converter inside it and its components. The thermal degradation of the semiconductors inside a Full Bridge Converter has been analyzed under an EV charging profile to estimate the lifetime of the semiconductors. Then using a Reliability Body Diagram, the overall converter's lifetime and reliability have been estimated.
