Ryoichi Ishihara
About
Associate Professor at the Quantum Integration Technology group of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) of Delft University of Technology. He is also a visiting professor of Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology since and a specially appointed associate professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology.
He received the PhD in Physical Electronics from Tokyo Institute of Technology (1996). After moving to TU Delft in the same year, he has established new activity of large area electronics using thin-film transistors (TFTs).
He became PI of QuTech in 2014 and a member of Kavli Institute of Nanoscience. His current research focus in QuTech is integration of interface electronics with silicon spin qubit by (1) monolithic integration and (2) advanced packaging technologies for scalable quantum computer, while he continues research on printed silicon on paper substrate for flexible, bio-degradable and recyclable electronics.
