Heat Sources
At TU Delft we develop technologies to optimally harvest and utilize sustainable sources for heating and cooling. This ranges from using the deep underground for geothermal heat, to harvesting heating or cooling capacity from outside air. Of course also solar heat is an important source which is available in various forms, e.g.: solar or asphalt collectors, surface water.
This profile deals with sources of heating and cooling we have at our disposal in our environment (ground, air, water). You will learn to quantify the available heat sources, establish a supply profile and design a supply system/technology from sources.
