Sarnia Fazlali joined ImPhys as Postdoc

Sarnia will work on the simulation, (micro) fabrication, and (experimental) analysis, of MEMS electron optical elements/ devices for electron microscopy applications under supervision of Jacob Hoogenboom.

She obtained her PhD in Physics from the University of Gothenburg. Her PhD thesis was on nanofabrication and testing of nanodevices for Spintronics applications. After her PhD, Sarnia did a postdoc at KTH University, where she worked on inks for inkjet printers. Afterwards, her journey evolved towards a keen interest in program development and data science within industry.
