Last June 29th, our community came together to commemorate Keti Koti, meaning "broken chains" in Dutch, which marks the abolition of Dutch transatlantic slavery on 1 July 1863. This event serves as a reminder to reflect on and address our colonial history and its lasting impact.
Heri Heri, a dish symbolizing resilience, brought everyone together for cooking workshops, meaningful discussions, and music. This special gathering was made possible through our collaboration with SUBEST Delft, Studium Generale and Kip Republic.
